Solar power project inaugurated

KARACHI: A solar power project with one megawatt generation capacity was inaugurated at Wah Nobel Chemicals Ltd, a statement said on Tuesday.
The groundbreaking ceremony the power project was held on 17 February, 2015, it said.
Reon Energy Solutions – a part of the Dawood Hercules Group – will undertake this project.
The statement said Reon has completed a host of successful projects countrywide with its solar and biogas energy solutions.
“Our company is the most reliable long-term partner for renewable energy solutions in the country,” said Inamur Rahman, chief executive officer at Reon Energy Solutions.
This is the second collaboration between Wah Nobel Group of Companies and Reon Energy Solutions after the project of 125 kilowatts solar power plant that has been functional since June 2014, the statement added.
