LAHORE: Bahria Town Sports Wing with the collaboration of Punjab Archery Association organised the third Bahria Cup Archery Championship at Bahria Town Archery Range which concluded on Monday.
Faisalabad won both men’s and women’s team titles events with 603 and 462 points respectively. Archery competitions were organised on Punjab Inter-Division and individual basis. In all 70 archers (men & women) participated in the event from Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Gujranwal, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan and departments. Brig (retd) Khalilullah Butt, Administrator Bahria Town Lahore, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the event. Also present on the occasion were Syed Khawar Shah, Director Sports Bahria Town, Mazhar Ahmad, Secretary General PFB and Syed Manzar Shah, Organizing Secretary of the event.
Results: Men’s team event: 1. Faisalabad 603 points gold 2. Lahore 548 points Silver 3. Gujranwala 506 points bronze
Women’s team event: 1. Faisalabad 462 points gold 2. Lahore 373 points silver 3. Bahawalpur 252 points bronze.
Women individuals: 1. Nighat 509 points gold 2. Aqsa 460 points silver
3. Sadaf 448 points bronze.
Men Individuals: 1. Hafiz Abdul Rehman 582 points gold 2. Nouman 549 points silver 3. Faheem 476 points bronze
