AIOU conference on climate change soon

Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold a national conference here later this month to promote research and education on climate change and atmosphere. This was announced here through the university sources on Friday. The event is being arranged by the university’s Faculty of Sciences in collaboration of the federal government’s Department on Global Climate. This is part of the series of activities, undertaken by the university to address the socio-economic issues of the country through publication of research journals and holding of conferences at international and national levels. Fourteen research journals were issued and twenty-seven conferences were arranged during the last three years by the university.
