Protesters in Charsadda flay US decision
CHARSADDA: Activists of the the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) on Saturday took out a protest rally against US President Donald Trump’s announcement of recognising Jerusalem as capital of Israel.
Led by Member National Assembly (MNA) Maulana Gohar Shah and former MNA Maulana Ghulam Muhammad Sadiq, the protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with anti-US and anti-Israel slogans.
They chanted slogans against the Trump’s announcement of recognising the Al-Quds as capital of Israel. Speaking on the occasion, they said that time had come to unite against the US and other anti-Islamic forces.
“Muslim Ummah should play an active role to resist Donald Trump’s announcement of accepting Al-Quds as the Israel capital,” said the MNA, adding that Pakistan government should expel the US diplomat forthwith. The lawmaker said that all Islamic countries should stop petroleum supply to the US. The JUI-F several activists were ready for ‘Jihad’ against the US and Israel, he pointed out.
