SUKKUR: To create awareness among the masses against corruption, a rally — under the leadership of Sukkur deputy director anti-corruption — was taken out from Mir Masoom Shah’s tomb to the Sukkur Press Club here on Friday. A large number of people, including representatives of political, social welfare and civil society, participated in the rally. Addressing the participants of rally, Sukkur Anti-Corruption Deputy Director Muhammad Ali Wasan said that 30 cases of corruption had been registered in the Sukkur Division while 31 cases had been ‘challaned’ and 15 raids were conducted. “In these raids, 20 accused had been arrested and approval had been sought from the Anti-Corruption Committee, Sukkur Division to conduct inquiries against officers of 75 different departments.”
