A 30-year-old woman gave birth to quadruplets at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) here on early Friday morning.
According to the hospital administration, Nazia, wife of a rickshaw driver of Raiwind, was brought to labour room at 3:30am, who gave birth to four babies, three boys and a girl, during a premature delivery.
Assistant Professor of Gynaecology Dr Nyla Yasmin, who supervised the operation, said the delivery was carried out in normal procedure. She added the average weight of the babies was 1.75 kg.
Father of the babies, Khalid, told the media he had got married 11 years back and already had one son while three of his babies had died in the past.
He expressed gratitude to Allah Almighty for blessing him with three sons and a daughter.
