Allegations against Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon regarding
attending a reception in, 2012 hosted by the notorious
gangster Uzair Baloch were categorically denied by the Sindh Information Department, in a statement issued on Thursday.
The allegation was leveled by the Elders’ (Buzarg) committee of Lyari that the minister had attended a reception in the year 2012.
The statement challenged the committee to bring forth any evidence regarding the matter. The committee was asked to desist from levelling baseless allegations.
