LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that pulpit should be used to promote love and brotherhood among the Muslims.
Addressing a workshop for the Ulema and the Khatibs at Mansoora, he said those spreading hatred and bias were ignorant of the teachings of Islam as a universal and collective system.
He said the Seerat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) taught good dealings even with the enemy. However, he said, that Allah Almighty enjoined awarding stringent punishments to the mischief makers.
Sirajul Haq said that in order to build Pakistan according to the vision of the Quaid-e-Azam, it was imperative to struggle for Nizam-e-Mustafa so that the problems of poverty, ignorance, price spiral and unemployment could be solved.
