Man kills sister, paramour for ‘honour’ in Kasur

KASUR: A man allegedly killed his sister and her alleged paramour for honour at Katarmul village in the limits of Sarai Mughal police station on Thursday.
According to the police, Shaukat Ali doubted that his sister Kausar Bibi had developed relations with Shahbaz of the same village. On the day of the incident, Shaukat found Kausar and her paramour Shahbaz in an objectionable condition in the house. Shaukat alerted his other family members and he along with them allegedly clubbed Shahbaz to death. Later, accused Shahbaz strangled his sister. The police have shifted the bodies to the THQ Hospital for autopsy and started investigation.
EX-UC NAZIM ROBBED: Two dacoits snatched Rs 300,000 from a former UC nazim on Naroki Road in the limits of Pattoki police station on Thursday. Nasir Ali was on way after drawing the amount from a bank when the dacoits intercepted his car and opened indiscriminate firing on it. As a result, car’s rear wheel burst. When the car stopped, the dacoits snatched the amount from Nasir and escaped. The police are investigating.
