KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has highly appreciated the performance of Shiraz Asif, captain of Pakistan Junior Baseball team.Murad invited him to the Chief Minister House here on Wednesday and commended his talent.Murad said that the sportsmen who win laurels for the country “are our asset and we will continue to patronise them”.The secretary general of Softball Federation of Pakistan (SFP) Asif Azeem was also present on the occasion. Shiraz was the first player from Sindh to represent Pakistan in the under-12 world baseball cup in 2013. He was declared the best emerging player in 2015’s BFA under-15 Asian baseball championship in Japan.
