Gilgit-Baltistan artistes perform

LAHORE: Alhamra Arts Council in collaboration with the youth of Gilgit Baltistan organised a grand musical and cultural night at Alhamra Hall-I on Tuesday evening. Artistes from Gilgit Baltistan performed with their traditional instruments.
Speaking on the occasion, Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Atta Muhammad Khan said the musical and cultural night was a successful attempt to present Gilgit Baltistan culture to people of Lahore, which received a great appreciation from the participants. Gilgit Baltistan’s famous poet Zafar Waqar presented his poetry. Artistes from Gilgit Baltistan including Jabir Khan Jabir, Khadim Hussain, Islam Habib, Abdul Ghafoor, Fazal ul Rehman, Salman Tariq and Mubarak Ali sang on the occasion.
