Punjab thrash Sindh to win U-16 Hockey

LAHORE: Punjab Blues outplayed Sindh Reds 6-0 in a one-sided final of the Under 16 Boys Schools National Hockey Championships at the Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur.
According to information available here after two closely fought semi-finals, an interesting final was expected. But Punjab Blues excelling in all the departments of the game to easily won by a tennis score with scorers being Sohail (2), Arsal Saleem (2), Shahbaz & Waqas Syed.
Earlier, in the third position match Punjab Greens defeated Islamabad 3-0. Member National Assembly, Syeda Nafisa Shah, who was the chief guest, distributed the medals and prizes.
