MANSEHRA: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has postponed public meeting due to the prevailing law and order.
“Our leadership has postponed the public meeting because of current law and order. The next date would be announced soon,” Babar Saleem Swati, the district president of the PTI, told a press conference on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, the party’s leader Senator Azam Khan Swati said PTI Chairman Imran Khan had decided to postpone the public meeting in Mansehra because of government crackdown against protesters in Faizabad.
“I would soon announce a date for public meeting in consultation with the party chairman Imran Khan,” said Swati.
