Nine killed in Faisalabad, Chichawatni road accidents

FAISALABAD: As many as six people, including a child, were killed in different accidents in and around the city.
In the first incident, a speeding tractor-trolley hit to death five-year-old Ahmad Ali of Chak 36/JB. In the second incident, a speeding dumper crushed a 40-year-old man to death on Boraywal Road.
In the third incident, Muhammad Aslam (70), a resident of Chak 93/RB, was killed on the spot when a motorcycle hit him near Chak 61/RB.
In the fourth incident, Abdul Ghaffar (35) was killed in a collision between a tractor-trolley and a van near Khannuana Bypass.
In the fifth incident, Zafarullah (26), a resident of Chak 468/JB, was killed in a collision between two motorcycles on Jhang Road. In the sixth incident, Muhammad Afzal, a resident of Chak 39/GB, was killed when a speeding van hit his motorcycle near Jhal Khannuana on Jaranwala-Satiana Road. The police took the bodies in custody and started investigation.
CHICHAWATNI: Three members of a family were killed in an accident on GT Road near Shalimar Chowk on Sunday.
According to police, Tasawar Hussain, his son Muntazir Hussain and seven-year-old daughter Tasha were going to Multan from Chak 44-12/L when a truck hit their motorcycle. As a result, they were killed on the spot. Police took the truck in custody and started investigation.
