KP Greens thump FATA in National School Hockey

KARACHI: Three of Punjab’s four teams were in action on the fourth day of the final round of the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s (PHF) Under-16 Boys’ Schools National Championships at the Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur.
Punjab Reds and Greens won their matches against Sindh Reds and KP Reds, respectively. Punjab Whites drew with Islamabad. KP Greens and Sindh Whites were the other victorious sides.Islamabad drew with Punjab Whites 1-1. M Usman for Islamabad and M Hammad for Punjab Whites scored one goal each.
In another match, KP Greens bundled out FATA 10-3. Hammad, Muneeb, M Umar and Meherban scored two goals each for the winning side. Punjab Reds easily defeated Sindh Reds 3-0. Abuzar, Bilal Aslam and Abdul Raheem scored one goal each.
Punjab Greens defeated KP Reds by a huge margin of 10-1. Waseem Ahmed, M Rubia, Umar Basheer, Inzimam Ali and Ali Hamza netted two goals each for the winning team. The lone scorer of KP Reds was M Rafiq. Sindh Whites defeated Baluchistan Reds 4-0. Arslan Khalid netted two goals. M Awais and M Husnain scored one goal each.
