LAHORE: In all nine matches in different age groups were held on day two of the 32nd Maple Leaf ITF Seniors World Ranking Tennis Championship 2017 here at Bagh-e-Jinnah Courts on Thursday.
Two matches were played in 35 age category while one each in 40, 45, 50, 55, 65 and 45-60 plus doubles.
Results: Men’s doubles 35 plus: Irfan ullah Khan/Shehzad Khan beat Ijaz Ch/Shakeel Muhammad 6-4, 4-6, 10-8, Rana Humayun/Hassan Said beat Ashir Ali Khan/Syed Hadi 6-4, 6-3
Men’s singles 40 plus: Talha Waheed beat Muhammad Shakeel 6-3, 6-4
Men’s singles 45 plus: Irfan Ullah Khan beat Sajjad Rasul 6-2, 6-2
Men’s singles 50 plus: Muhammad Arif beat Israr Gull Khan 7-5, 2-6, 6-2
Men’s singles 55 plus: Malik Inam Ullah beat Naresh Khatri 6-2, 6-2
Men’s singles 65 plus: Khurram Khawaja beat Shahid Mehmood 6-3, 6-3
Men’s doubles 55 plus: Naresh Khatri (India)/Gull Hamid beat Rai Zahid Zafar/Syed Naveed 6-3, 4-6, 11-9
Men’s doubles 60 45 plus: Rashid Mailk beat/Fayyad Khan beat Israr Gull/Jehanzeb Khan 7-5, 6-1.
