LAHORE: Bahawalpur won the Punjab Women Karate Championship with 2 gold medals, 2 silver and a bronze that got them 75 points. The championship that ended at Sports Gymnasium Hall Sahiwal, saw Bahawalpur dominate the event. Lahore clinched 2 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals with 75 points to secure 2nd position. While Sahiwal Red secured third position by winning 3 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze medals and with 70 points and stood 3rd. Ms Kanwal Nizam Bhutto, Assistant Commissioner Sahiwal, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
