Pesco meter readers take oath to record correct reading

PESHAWAR: In a rare show of commitment, Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) Chief Executive Shabbir Ahmed Saturday took oath from officers and meter readers to record correct reading and avoid over-billing.
The oath-taking took place at a ceremony at Wapda House here.
Meter readers and officers from Peshawar and Mardan circles of Pesco took oath to carry out duty diligently and record correct reading.
The chief executive took oath from the Pesco employees to discharge their duties with utmost honesty and behave with the consumers in an exemplary friendly way.
For the first time, the executive of the power supply company took such an oath from the officers and officials.
