Ban aerial firing
November 18, 2017
The concerned authorities should take immediate action to prevent aerial firing during celebrations. Aerial firing has claimed the lives of so many innocent people, including children, in the past. Although the government put a ban on aerial firing, people are fearlessly breaking the law, putting the lives of other people in danger. These activities will not be stopped unless wrongdoers are punished for their actions.
Heavy financial penalty along with jail term up to one or two years should be imposed on anyone found violating the law. It is the responsibility of the police department to discourage aerial firing. A large-scale public awareness campaign should be launched against this harmful activity. People must understand that their two-minute fun might put someone else’s life in danger.
