Mardan DC directed to issue domicile certificates to people at doorsteps

PESHAWAR: Chief Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan has directed Mardan deputy commissioner to prepare modalities for issuance of domicile certificates to the people at their doorstep and send the same to his office so that those may be shared with all the deputy commissioners of the province for the facilitation of masses.

He was further directed to open bank counters at Service Delivery Centres (SDCs), establish facilitation desks at SDC and provide branchless banking facility to people at the SDCs, said an official statement.

The director of the Land Revenue Records was asked to prepare job description for Assistant Database Managers and send the same to Establishment Department accordingly.

He asked the SMBR to prepare guidelines for speedy disposal of revenue cases at different courts and arrange training at divisional level for the revenue staff. The chief secretary was directed to upload the visual of such training on the website of the board of revenue.

The Mardan deputy commissioner was asked to convert some posts of patwaris into service delivery officials (computer operators) and the case may be tackled with the Finance Department. The SMBR was also directed to consult the Law Department for hiring a team of lawyers to assist the SDCs.
