NOWSHERA: Speakers at a function organised to mark the fifth death anniversary of nationalist leader and poet Ajmal Khattak paid rich tributes to the late leader and his services and struggle for the rights of Pakhtuns.
The Afghan Intellectual Movement in collaboration with the Pakhtunwali Organisation had arranged a function to mark his death anniversary.
Afghan Literature and Culture Consul Abdul Baqi was the chief guest on the occasion.
The speakers said that Ajmal Khattak struggled for the rights of the oppressed and rights of the province.
Abdul Baqi said that Ajmal Khattak was not only the poet of Pakhtuns in KP but also of those living in Afghanistan.
