A SPOKESMAN for the Health Department has said that Secretary Health Punjab Jawad Rafique Malik has taken notice of the media reports regarding allegedly throwing measles vaccines into different dirty nullahas of Lahore. According to a handout issued on Saturday, he said that a four-member high level inquiry committee, headed by DCO Lahore Capt. (R) Muhammad Usman, has been constituted. Other members of the committee include Dean Institute of Public Health Prof. Moaz Ahmed, Additional Secretary Technical Dr. Salman Shahid, and Director Health Headquarters Dr. Ahmed Afifi.
