LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has condemned the Peshawar attack and urged all the parliamentary parties to take a unified stand against terrorism, a statement said.
After the terror attack on an Imambargah in Hayatabad area of Peshawar, LCCI President Ijaz A Mumtaz said, “The loss of precious innocent lives is not bearable at all.”
He termed the attack a cowardly and ugly attempt to destabilise the country, and said any further delay in taking a stand would cause undue damage to the country.
“Security forces and the government were already making efforts to weed out terrorism, but all political parties should also play their role in this regard,” he added.
