Court orders two fake cheque cases From Our Correspondent CHAKWAL: The Additional District and Sessions judge Thursday ordered registration of two cases against two people who issued fake cheques. Abdul Qadoos filed a petition before the court, saying that he had sold a van to Ahmed Shah, who gave him a cheque for Rs 115,000. When he took the cheque to the bank it was bounced. In the second case, Safeer Mirza Khan filed a plea in the court, saying that he sold his house to Ghulam Murtaza and Murtaza who had paid him Rs 3.5 million and given a cheque for Rs 500,000. He said when he brought the cheque to the bank it was bounced. TWO AFGHANS HELD: Sadr police Thursday arrested two Afghan nationals, who were living without legal documents. SI Zohaib Ali asked legal papers from Lal Khan, who was living in village Mureed, but he could not produce the papers. In another incident, SI Rub Nawaz demanded legal documents from Muhammad Khan, but he also could not produce the papers. Separate cases were registered against the Afghans under Foreign Act. FAKE CURRENCY: Sadr police arrested an accused of village Mureed who was involved in illegal business of fake currency. Police recovered Rs 16,500 fake currency from the accused.
