NOWSHERA: A former district president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Mufti Sajjad on Sunday announced joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The sources said that Mufti Sajjad was removed from the party’s district president slot after he developed differences with his party leadership.The decision of removal enraged Mufti Sajjad and he started interaction with PTI’s Mian Khaliqur Rehman. The sources said that the two leaders were in contact for several months and the disgruntled JUI-F leader finally decided to quit his party. The announcement was made at a meeting with Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
