11 die in Layyah road accident

LAYYAH: Eleven people were killed and 13 others injured in an accident at Multan-Mianwali Road, some 30-Km away from here on Saturday.
According to police, the collision between a trailer and a van carrying marriage party occurred near Chak No 332-TDA.
As a result, 11 people, including six children and three women, died while 13 others sustained serious injuries.
The injured were shifted to Chowk Azam Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, however, seven seriously injured were referred to the Nishtar Hospital Multan.
The deceased were
identified as Amna Tahir, Emaan Nasir, Aiman Nasir, Iqra, Nasir, Parveen Aslam, Amanullah (driver), Ghafforan Bibi, Liaquat, Ahmed Ali and Rasheedan Bibi. —
