PESHAWAR: The National Highways and Motorway Police issued ticket to Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai for over-speeding on the motorway on Saturday.
The Rs750 ticket was issued near Swabi when Achakzai was travelling in his jeep from Islamabad to Peshawar at a speed of 132 kilometres per hour.
A number of politicians and parliamentarians were also issued tickets by the Traffic Police in Peshawar for violating traffic rules. A campaign was also carried out against VIP number plates on luxury vehicles.
