Rain and destruction

This is about the heavy rains that hit Karachi recently and because of which all the life in the city came to a standstill. This shows the poor infrastructure of the city and the carelessness and negligence of the government. The Mayor did visit various areas which is appreciable on his part, but he kept making excuses of not having enough power.
He said if the preventive measures had been taken a week ago, we wouldn’t be going through such situation. For how long will we keep calling our armed forces for help when these matters can easily be resolved by local authorities?
