Petrol prices
By our correspondents
September 01, 2017
According to some media reports, the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel might increase to Rs2.24 per litre. This is because the price of petrol in the international market has gone up. This means that within a few days, fares of public transport will increase again.
It seems that the life in the city is only for the elite. Rich people do not have to worry about the increasing prices of basic commodities. They do not have to deal with the electricity and gas shortages. On the other hand, the poor and the middle-class people have to bear the brunt of high prices. But there is no one to listen to their pleas.
