Shocking allegations
Trump’s recent allegations have offended the entire nation. It seems that the president of the US – following in the Indian prime minister’s footsteps – is not happy with the success of the ongoing $56 billion CPEC project. While completely ignoring the sacrifices of Pakistan, the president of the US accused Pakistan of providing safe havens to terrorists.
The malicious statement of Trump will bear no fruit except for straining the US-Pakistan relationship. Pakistan must strongly protest the demand of the US to ‘do more’. The country must stand up and tell the world that it has sacrificed a lot. More than 70,000 people have been martyred in the war on terror. The US only wants to put the blame of its failure of Pakistan. The need of the hour is to stand united. It is time to say ‘no more’ to the US.

According to an official press release of the ISPR, the COAS has said that peace in Afghanistan is as important for Pakistan as for any other country. He added that the country has done a lot for bringing peace to Afghanistan and will keep doing its best for the same. The country’s efforts were not meant to appease anyone, but they were in line with the country’s national interest and national policy.
The COAS said that the country is not looking for any material or financial assistance from the US, but it would appreciate if it receives trust, understanding and acknowledgement of its contributions. The statement of the COAS has undoubtedly triggered a sense of pride in nation.
