This refers to the article, ‘Inequalities of the Islamic Republic’ (February 3) by Ayaz Amir. The writer has, in a very subtle way, identified the real issue of our society.
Hypocrisy is no more a personal trait. It has moved into our policies – both external and internal. There is no institution left that is above this national trait. However, our military as an institution is still better than other organs of the state. But the need for reforms is always there. Our army chief is doing a great job and we are all proud of him. Likewise, the government should work towards eliminating hypocrisy.
