Parks in Islamabad are showing a dismal picture of the mismanagement of the CDA. These parks were built so that residents of the city can spend quality time there. But because of persistent negligence of the authorities, these parks are turned into unkempt jungles. Now, instead of residents strolling on the park, animals are grazing whatever grass is left at the place.
The F-11 park in the city is the most neglected. The place doesn’t have a proper gate, resulting in all kind of people entering the pack and tampering with the beauty of the place. The boundary wall of the park is also broken. Street lights installed at various places across the park are out of order. Many complaints have been filed regarding the matter and the CDA has also been notified, but no work has been done to resolve the issue. The relevant authorities should take notice of the issue at the earliest.
