Cattle-pen, house gutted

MANSEHRA: A house and cattle-pen were gutted when fire erupted due to short-circuiting in Balakot early Friday.

Abdul Quddus told police that the family members were asleep when the fire broke out in the house because of short-circuiting. The fire engulfed the house rapidly, reducing valuables and household to ashes.

 A herd of animals, including two cows, goats and sheep also perished in the inferno. The fire-tender reached the spot after receiving information.
