Four dengue cases reported in Swabi district
SWABI: Another young man was tested positive for dengue virus as the number dengue patients in the district jumped to four in the district, an official said on Thursday. The hospital sources confirmed that the patient identified as Yousaf Khan, 25, of Hamlet village in Topi was tested positive.
The other dengue patients include Sher Rehman of Charbagh village, Ayaz Khan of Batakara village and Muhammad Irfan, 25, of Kalam Seri village.
Meanwhile, a walk was held here to create awareness about the dengue virus and fever on Thursday. Led by DC Khawaja Muhammad Sikandar Zeeshan, the participants of the walk including Additional Deputy Commissioner Fazal Hussain, District Health Officer, ladies health visitors, activists of civil society and students walked from Shubra Chowk to Shama Chowk.
