NANKANA SAHIB: Strike of the District Bar Association entered the second day here on Tuesday. The lawyers boycotted the court proceedings to register their protest against the issuance of arrest warrants for Multan High Court Bar Association president Sher Zaman Qureshi. They also took out a rally from the bar room up to Tehsil Morr. DBA president Rai Muhammad Akram Bhatti led the rally.

They also boycotted the court proceedings and took out a rally from the bar room. It was led by Jaranwala Bar Association president Rana Mehfooz Ahmad and secretary Shahzad Asim Awan. The lawyers were chanting slogans in favour of the Multan High Court Bar Association president. They demanded withdrawal of the issuance of arrest warrants for Multan High Court Bar Association president Sher Zaman Qureshi.
MUZAFFARGARH: Lawyers continued their strike in the district on Tuesday.
They also did not appear in courts and staged a demonstration to press their demand for withdrawal of arrest warrants for the MHCBA president. A severe traffic jam took place due to the sit-in of the lawyers at Chowk Kutchery. Addressing the protesters, District Bar Association president Syed Tassaduq Hussain Bukhari, Punjab Bar Council member Jam Muhammad Younis and others warned that the black coats would not accept the arrest of their colleague.

The lawyers also took out a rally under the leadership of the DBA president and marched through Sialkot Road. The protesters demanded withdrawal of arrest warrants for the Multan High Court Bar Association president.
