OKARA: An accused attempted suicide in A-Division police lockup on Thursday.
Police had arrested Qasim of Abdullah Basti, Depalpur, in a case registered against him. On the day of the incident, the accused attempted suicide by cutting his throat with a sharp-edged weapon. He was shifted to a hospital. Police have registered a suicide attempt case against him.
