Political instability
Our political system is based on contradictions and flaws. No political party stands on sound principles. Many parties are created during the election season and are faded away soon after the polls. The party that wins majority votes gets the right to form the government. According to Edmund Burke, a government is a contrivance of human wisdom to provide for human wants. However, in our electoral system, personal loyalty to party chief takes precedence over anything else.
A cabinet formed on these principles can only promote flattery and sycophancy. Nothing good can be expected from it other than singing to the tunes of the party chief. In our country, politicians keep welfare and benefit of the party first and everything else, including the country, second. The tall claims by our political leaders to bring change in the system without first changing their own luxurious and royal ways of life and unruly behaviour are nothing less than deceiving innocent people.
