4 of a family injured in Lower Dir IED blast
TIMERGARA: Four persons of a family, including a woman, sustained injuries in a roadside blast in Mirakay village in Lower Dir, official sources said on Wednesday.
“Four persons sustained injuries when an improvised explosive device (IED) hit the vehicle in the limits of Zimdara Police Station in Maidan,” an official said.
The injured identified as Tooti Rahman, Shah Haider, Ahmad and his wife Yasmin were taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) in Lal Qila where the condition of all the injured is stated to be out of danger.
The sources said three suspects had been arrested and further investigation into the incident was underway.
The sources added that one of the injured, Tooti Rehman, was member of a pro-government peace body in the area.
