KARACHI: Pakistan has great potential despite the acute energy crises and law and order situation, Emil Wyss, Consul General, Consulate General of Switzerland in Karachi said during a meeting at the Swiss Consulate on Thursday.
The Swiss envoy met DS-Concept Factoring Country Head Qaseem Jaffri to explore avenues for encouraging Pakistani exporters and to strengthen business ties between Switzerland and Pakistan.
Jaffri briefed the Swiss envoy about the efforts of DS-Concept in Pakistan. He said DS-Concept had introduced the concept of factoring in Pakistan and was providing high class customer satisfaction.
He said DS-Concept was yet another example of a foreign company in the finance sector that had grown from its inception to a leading position in Pakistan by following the principles of business ethics and maintaining international standards.
He further said that the operation of DS-Concept reflects the interest of foreign investors to contribute in the development of Pakistan’s economy. Jaffri said Pakistan’s economy was expected to grow at a fast pace once the law and order situation returned to normal.
DS-Concept is a Germany-based finance organisation that provides liquidity for international trading enterprises.
