Junior, Cadet National TT Championships begins today
KARACHI: More than 100 young peddlers from across the country will begin title quest as Panasonic 24th Junior and Cadet National Table Tennis Championships begins here at the Islamia Club on Thursday (today).
The event is being organised by Karachi Table Tennis Association with the help of Sindh and Pakistan bodies of the game.Teams from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Islamabad, Army, Railways, National Highway Authority (NHA), Chromatex Chemicals and Habib Bank Limited (HBL, Under-15 only) are featuring in the competitions which will last till August 20.
In the team competitions, Army will defend the crown in the boys juniors category. NHA will defend the title in the boys cadets, Sindh in the girls juniors and Chromatex in the girls cadets.
Events: Junior boys and girls, cadet boys and girls, junior boys and girls singles and doubles, cadet boys and girls singles.Today’s fixtures: junior, cadet boys and girls team competition (10am), junior and cadet boys and girls team competition (5pm).
