This is to draw the attention of the relevant authorities to a problem which has now become a nuisance for the residents living in the vicinity of the Seaview Beach. Every weekend we see cars, buses, taxis and even rickshaws parked on the service lanes of the Seaview Road, causing huge traffic jams and making life miserable for residents. The residents are finding it extremely difficult to go out and enjoy their weekends.
Equally affected is the area in front of a private club. Cars stop right in front of the club to drop visitors. This gridlocks further gridlocks. The authorities concerned have put up speed breakers signs on the service lane when they should have placed ‘no parking’ signs. In order to tackle the traffic situation, cars parked on the service lane should be towed away immediately and fine should be imposed. Although Beach Avenue has turned into a picnic spot, it should be kept in mind that the Seaview Road is purely a residential area.
