PTI activists pour scorn on Gulalai
BANNU: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have criticized Ayesha Gulalai for her ‘baseless allegation’ against the party chairman for cheap publicity and money.
Speaking at a press conference at the Bannu Press Club, PTI leader Malik
Shah Muhammad Khan alleged that Gulalai resorted to cheap tactics for the sake of money.
He said a grand jirga would take the decision of whether or not to demolish the home of Gulalai.
The PTI leader alleged that Gulalai collected
donation from abroad
for establishing a hospital in Bannu. “Locals also donated land for the hospital
but she constructed home
for her family on the
donated land and money,” he added.
Another PTI leader Malik Mustafa Khan at a separate press conference said the party had a complaint committee and added that Ayesha Gulalai should have reported the issue to the committee. He said that the allegation was a part of the conspiracy to force Imran Khan to quit politics.
Meanwhile, PTI councillor Halimzada and other party members Sufian Afghani and Muhammad Aziz said that Gulalai claim that her life was in danger was an attempt to become another Malala Yousafzai.
