DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A man was killed and three persons including a woman sustained injuries in the limits of the Prova Police Station on Saturday, official sources said.
They said that one Ismail alias Baila, Tariq, Abdul Sattar and Bano Bibi, wife of Muhammad Nawaz, were on the way to Dera Ismail Khan from Tank when gunmen in a car fired at their vehicle (LXP-477) near Waziristan Chowk.
As a result, Tariq was killed on the spot while Abdul Sattar, Ismail and Bano Bibi sustained injuries.
The injured were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan where their condition was stated to be stable. The police registered the case and started investigation.
