HAFIZABAD: A factory worker was killed by unidentified people near Fatehpur village on Tuesday.
Gulzar Ahmad was on way home from the factory when unidentified people killed him with the blows of a sharp-edged weapon. Police have registered a case.

Teachers demand payment of paper checking fees

HAFIZABAD: A large number of teachers of the district have demanded the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Gujranwala, high-ups clear their dues of paper checking.
They said that they had checked papers of Matric examinations 2014 but they had still not been paid the paper checking fees.
