Ulema flay removal of loudspeakers from mosques

HAFIZABAD: Ulema belonging to different sects have expressed their concern over the removal of loudspeakers from mosques by the authorities.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Jamaat-e-Suffa Pakistan chairman Pir Syed Waseemul Hassan Naqi, Jamaat Ahle Hadith leader Allama Nasrullah Khan Bhatti, Allama Raza Muhammad Asghar Chishti, Allama Faisal Nadeem Kailani, Liaquat Zawar Khanu, Malik Abid, Syed Maman Trimzi, JUI leaders Allama Ahmad Saeed Awan, Hafiz Allah Ditta, Sajid and Qasim Goraya said that they would not tolerate interference in religious matters. They alleged that the rulers wanted to make the country a secular state and religious parties would foil their nefarious designs. They condemned terrorism in Peshawar and Shikarpur, saying that religious-minded people were with the Army.
They said that the Qadianis were hatching conspiracies against Islam and the country and the government should take stern action against them. They said that they would court arrest and fill up the jails if the government registered cases against them for not removing loudspeakers from mosques.
