Qadri welcomes SC verdict
Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has termed the Supreme Court verdict historic and congratulated the court and the nation.
In a telephonic address to PAT core committee members, he said the unanimous decision of declaring the prime minister dishonest was historic by all standards. He also greeted all political workers, lawyers and journalists, saying the decision was the victory of the country.
He hoped that justice would be provided to victims of the Model Town incident. He said the way they tried to twist facts in the Panama case, they also made a similar attempt in the Model Town case.
Dr Tahirul Qadri said the Pakistan Awami Tehreek would accelerate its struggle for release of the Baqar Najafi report.He said the Panama case should be the starting point of a countrywide campaign against the corrupt and their facilitators and it should reach its logical end and all looted wealth should be brought back.
