CTD arrests three alleged terrorists in Multan
LAHORE: A special team of CTD claimed to have arrested three terrorists of TTP in Multan who were planning a terrorist activity.
Three hand grenades and a pistol were also seized from their custody. A spokesman for CTD said a credible source gave information that three terrorists belonging to proscribed organisation TTP were present at Southern bypass Vehari Road, Multan. They had planned to attack vital installation in Multan. Following the information, CTD Multan raided near Southern Bypass Multan on Friday afternoon and arrested three terrorists. They were shifted to undisclosed location for further investigations.
training: The Punjab Emergency Service director general formally concluded the three-day long Fire Investigation Course at the Managers Training Centre, Punjab Emergency Service, on Friday.
The course was organised by the Fire and Safety Wing to strengthen and asses the capacity of the lead fire rescuers from different districts of the Punjab to improve their fire emergency management skills.
The Rescue 1122 DG said the basic purpose of running such courses was to enhance capacity of the managers to maintain service standards in all districts of Punjab. He said strict implementation of National Fire Safety Codes could ensure life safety in Pakistan.
found dead: A 30-year-old woman was found dead in her house in the Township police area on Friday. The deceased was identified as Aysha. She was a computer operator in Social Security Hospital. Police have removed the body to morgue.
