Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL), in continuity of the strict policy of disconnecting gas bill defaulters, ordered disconnection of government, special domestic defaulting consumers owing Rs2,027,860.
In this respect SNGPL has disconnected four consumers of Sheikupura Region, seven consumers of Rawalpindi region and one consumer of Gujrat region.
Shiekupura Region: DHQ Hospital Nankana Sahib (Rs. 473,040), DPO Police Lines Nankana Sahib (Rs. 259,110), DPO (Police Mess) Nankana Sahib (Rs. 204,610), Govt. Middle School Kot Nizam Din Shahkot (Rs. 109,080).
Islamabad Region: Office of Govt. Agriculture Colony Attock (Rs. 170,060), Jamia Masjid Khuda Dad Golra Sharif Islamabad (Rs. 140,100), Jamia Masjid village Dhurnal Fateh Jang (Rs. 114,500), Jamia Masjid Mumtazabad village Sadqal Fateh Jhang (Rs. 112,320), Govt. Boys Primary School Sadqal Fateh Jhang (Rs. 111,150), Jamia Masjid Farooq-e-Azam Hazro Attock (Rs. 110,770), Govt. Higher Secondary School Village Malal Fateh Jhang (Rs. 110,420).
Gujrat Region: SDO, GEPCO Jalal Din Tanda Road Jalalpur Jattan Gujrat (Rs. 112,700)
transferred: The Punjab government has issued a notification of promotion, transfer and posting of officers on Monday. According to the notification Secretary Livestock Nasim Hayat Sadiq has been promoted to BS-20, Additional Secretary CM Secretariat Naveed Adil Sherazi to BS-19, and Deputy Secretary Excise & Taxation Irfan Yousaf to BS-18, and upon promotion they have been directed to continue work on their existing positions. Additional Collector Khushab Mobeen Elahi has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Monitoring Home Department. Rao Atif Raza and Saeed Zafar (awaiting posting) have been posted as Additional Collector Khushab and Deputy Secretary Admin MPDD respectively. Assistant Commissioner Fort Abbas Mohammed Rafique has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Nankana Sahib vice Saeed Ali who has been made Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
Meanwhile Additional IG Balochistan Capt. (Retd) Arif Nawaz, who had been transferred and his services were placed at the disposal of the Punjab government, has reported to Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD), and would be posted on important post soon.
