SBI seeks draft on DSEZ regulations
KARACHI: Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) chairperson Naheed Memon has called upon the consultants of the consortium working on Dhabeeji Special Economic Zone (DSEZ) to prepare draft of land policy and regulations of the DSEZ, for approval, a statement said on Tuesday.
Talking to consultants at her office, she also directed to work on the idea to build five-star hotel near the DSEZ, so as to facilitate investors and buyers. The SBI chairperson also directed to prepare suggestions regarding improvement of the roads and railway tracks, which are connected to DSEZ.
The steps should also be taken to include among priorities the project 'ML-1` about installation of railway tracks from Peshawar to Karachi, which will be built in the DSEZ in line with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), to ensure smooth transportation of industrial goods from DSEZ, she added.
