Seven prisoners released
PAKPATTAN: District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Aslam on Sunday visited the District Jail and ordered release of seven prisoners who were involved in petty crimes.
The D&SJ along with Civil Judge Ali Bilal visited the District Jail and inspected the jail’s barracks and kitchen. He also listened to the problems of the inmates and issued necessary orders on the spot. The judge ordered the jail’s administration to provide best facilities to the inmates.
BAHAWALPUR: The PPP Women Wing took out a ‘Go Nawaz Go’ rally near Bahawalnagar on Sunday. The rally was led by PPP Women Wing leader Nazia Ayub from Sifi Chowk up to Noorsar Chowk. The participants were holding the party flags and chanting slogans against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. They were also carrying banners and demanding immediate resignation of the prime minister. Addressing the rally, Nazia Ayub said that democracy and corruption could not go side by side. Now, it was the right time to oust Nawaz Sharif as corruption of billions of rupees against him and his family had been exposed.
